Convert Mermaid into editable diagrams
NuromBoard can convert Mermaid code into editable diagrams on the canvas. Flowcharts, ER diagrams, sequence diagrams, and class diagrams preserve their nodes, connectors, and endpoints wherever possible, and you can keep adjusting them after generation.
What is supported
Flowcharts, ER diagrams, sequence diagrams, and class diagrams are the current focus. Unsupported Mermaid types are converted to images so the content can still be inserted into the canvas and viewed normally.
Steps
- 1Open Mermaid-to-diagram
Open the Mermaid-to-diagram dialog from the toolbar or the more-features entry.
- 2Enter your Mermaid code
Paste graph, sequenceDiagram, classDiagram, or erDiagram syntax, and check that nodes and connectors are complete.
- 3Preview and check
Preview the result on the right first, confirming that the layout, arrow directions, and text are not cut off.
- 4Insert into the canvas and keep editing
After you click insert, supported diagrams arrive on the whiteboard as canvas elements that you can move, recolor, re-anchor, and extend.
FAQ
Why do some Mermaid diagrams become images?
Only flowcharts, ER diagrams, sequence diagrams, and class diagrams currently support structured conversion. Other types are inserted as images to avoid rendering failures.
Can I edit a Mermaid diagram after inserting it?
Supported diagram types are converted into editable canvas elements; types outside that range are inserted as images.
